The Eight Bells Hotel

The Eight Bells Hotel is a traditional grade two listed country pub and restaurant with off road parking, situated opposite the village green, approx one mile outside the village of Hawkhurst on the A229 in Kent.
The building was devastated by fire in the early 1990's and was later restored to its former glory. Some of the original Oak beams survived the fire which are around 400 years old. Please look at the picture gallery for pictures of the actual blaze.
We offer a fine selection of traditional cask ales, lagers, spirits and wines.
We have two bars catering for all tastes, with pool, darts and high definition Sky TV in one bar and a relaxed traditional atmosphere in the other.
Weekend entertainment is often provided, please follow the "whats on at the Eight Bell's" links for further details.
Our cozy restaurant offers traditional pub food and leads to our new terrace where diners can enjoy the outside atmosphere.
The pub has a large beer garden with an adjoining duck pond.
Well behaved dogs on leads are always welcome.
